Hyrox and the Brand Opportunity in the Fastest-Growing Fitness Sport in the World

Hyrox grew more than 1,000% in five years. The 2025-26 season targets 1.3 million participants across eighty-five cities in thirty countries.

The Hyrox audience profile is one of the most commercially valuable in global fitness. The average participant is approximately thirty-three years old, with an equal gender split, spends four and a half hours on-site at each event, and allocates hundreds of pounds annually to health-related purchases. Puma has committed to the partnership through 2030. Red Bull released a documentary series about Hyrox athletes. Non-endemic brands from insurance to automotive have entered the space.

The brand engagement dynamics at Hyrox events are fundamentally different from passive spectator sports. Every participant has physically suffered and achieved something genuine during the race. The emotional state produced by completing eight functional workout stations and eight runs is one of intense satisfaction, community warmth, and openness to positive brand association.

The Hyrox community extends significantly beyond the event itself. Athletes train together for months before each race. The gym community that prepares for Hyrox develops genuine bonds of shared physical challenge creating a particularly loyal and advocacy-prone consumer group. The brand embedded in the Hyrox training community through gym partnerships reaches the community across the entire year-round training lifecycle.

The opportunity for non-endemic brands is specifically compelling at this stage of Hyrox's growth. The non-endemic categories, including financial services, premium food and drink, property, and lifestyle, are largely open. The brand that enters the Hyrox community as a genuine partner in the next twelve months occupies a position that early sponsors will look back on as the right move made at the right time.

Formats like this fit how we like to work: find a community that's already training hard, and give it a reason to stay together after the session, with a brand that makes that easier.

Got a brief this made you think of? We would like to hear it.
